Privacy Policy — Tambola

App: Tambola (com.valerian.tambola) · Last updated: 8 September 2026

Tambola is a Tambola/Housie number-caller app. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: it does not collect any.

Data we collect

None. Tambola does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal or device data. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, and no third-party SDKs that gather information.

Data the app sends over the internet

None. The app runs entirely on your device and functions with no network connection. It makes no requests to any server, ours or anyone else's.

Data stored on your device

Game state — which numbers have been called, which prizes are marked claimed, and your theme and voice preferences — is held in memory while the app is open and is not written to storage. Closing the app discards it. Nothing is ever uploaded.

Permissions

The app requests no access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, files, or any other sensitive permission.

Text-to-speech

Tambola calls numbers aloud using the text-to-speech engine already installed on your Android device. The app sends the called number and its rhyme to that on-device engine. Which engine handles it, and how that engine behaves, is governed by your device settings and by the privacy policy of the engine's provider (for example Google's, if you use Google Speech Services). Tambola does not receive anything back from it beyond audio playback.

Children

Tambola is suitable for general audiences. Because it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.
